Grid/Cloud/Detail

An installation exhibited at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Denmark in 2004. The plywood construction is a collection of 90 elements made from over 6000 pieces. The structure investigates our perception of space using the grid to explore the outlines of spaces. The three different grid types in the installation contain the same amount of space but each type are perceived very differently in contradiction to that.
