Reflection Instruments
A series of instruments which investigate how to create spaces from reflections and shadows. The idea derived from still-life paintings where the observer gets glimpses of the surrounding space through reflections in the painted reflecting objects. But if one was to reconstruct the surrounding spaces by the information given in the reflections, it would be on the premises of the objects distortion of reality and the reconstructed spaces would thereby signify this distortion.
This project seeks to explore that relationship.
